About the USFCA
Membership in the Coaches Association provides opportunities and benefits to coaches unavailable through any other organization.  The USFCA provides opportunities to enhance your professional coaching career, improve your teaching, receive internationally recognized accreditation, serve on committees, support the association's programs to upgrade the coaching and teaching of fencing, and gain access to USFCA member services.

The United States Fencing Coaches' Association is a national academy of the Academie d'Armes Internationale, (AAI), the world organization of fencing masters.   The diplomas awarded through the USFCA are recognized by the AAI and its member national academies throughout the world.

Delegates from the USFCA attend the bi-annual AAI congress, and teams of fencing masters from the United States compete in the AAI World Fencing Masters Championships.

The USFCA is also a member of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), and cooperates with the United States Fencing Association (USFA) in the support of the development of American fencing.

Mission
The USFCA is dedicated to the growth and development of better fencing through better coaching by improving the quality of fencing instruction and supporting fencing coaches in the United States.

USFCA Ethics Policy
The United States Fencing Coaches Association endorses, promotes and advocates the USOC Coaching Ethics code. The USOC Code of Ethics is not intended to be binding on any member.  However, the USFCA encourages all members to individually aspire to the highest possible standards of professional conduct as exemplified by the USOC Ethics Code.  Likewise, USFCA members are encouraged to respect and protect human and civil rights, and to refrain from participating in or condoning unfair discriminatory practices.
