Wednesday, February 10, 2021 - Wednesday, February 10, 2021

Three weapon fencing Master Robert Handelman invites all level coaches to join him and Prévôt Sándor Mándoki for a series of zoom epee clinics. Each series will be sectioned into three modules. Each two hour module will run once a week for three weeks in a row.

Every coach will be able to submit a 5 minute video for feedback before the next session. Once the first section of modules is complete there will be a one week break and the next module of three sessions will start. We will present a total of seven modules of three clinics (21 two hour sessions).
At the end of the series Maître Handelman will offer zoom USFCA certification exams for Moniteur in epee. We strongly encourage women to use this series to become certified in epee as there is a need for more certified female epee coaches.

The clinics will progress from how to coach and cue correctly, to detailed information on all epee techniques, and finish with Teaching lessons and advanced high level Option lessons.

At each session the lead coaches will briefly discuss epee technique while they demonstrate it. The coaches should then repeat the technique with their student or another coach. After trying it, pose questions or concerns to the leads before continuing to the next action. The lead coaches will also watch the attendees work on the action, and then give general feedback to the group as a whole. This will be a working clinic with as much doing as possible.

Cost:

Full 21 sessions of the seven clinics: Non-Members: $395 For coaches that sign up for one clinic of three weekly sessions at a time: Non-Members: $100 Full 21 sessions of the seven clinics: USFCA Members: $295 For coaches that sign up for one clinic of three weekly sessions at a time: USFCA Members: $75.
