This in person clinic is part of the National Coaching Development Program (NCDP) of the United States Fencing Coaches Association. It covers foundational and developmental principle, and mechanics of instructing fencing. This Clinic is recommended for teachers, coaches, and fencers pursuing a Level 2 (Assistant Moniteur), or a Level 3 (Moniteur) certification. It also provides continuing education units to experienced coaches. Coaches-in-training (CIT) will develop training scenarios using group and individual instructional formats to promote skill development. Formative assessments will be given at the end of each session.
