The following workshop is meant to train high school coaches to be acceptable fencing coaches for beginning teams. Coaches will learn the basics of information about the common features fencing has with other sports they may coach, safety rules and equipment needed. In addition, Coaches will learn the style of New Jersey’s style of high school fencing and the benefits of the dual match format in addition to tournament style fencing. On the day of the clinic, coaches will focus on warmups, conditioning and team building activities.
